The New Illawarra Road Intersection project is an upgrade and extension of New Illawarra Road in Barden Ridge. This vital piece of infrastructure serves as an entrance to the The Ridgeway Residential Development, connecting residents to the wider community.
Split over four stages, key features of the project involved demolition of existing pavements, clearing and tree removal, stormwater drainage, road construction, utilities and installation of the signalised intersection.
Works required strict traffic control measures to maintain live traffic conditions and ensure the safety of workers and the greater community.
