The Rydalmere Park project involved the upgrade of two soccer fields to Football NSW specifications, including drainage and irrigation systems, the upgrade of the existing cricket pitch to meet Cricket Australia standards, and the installation of practice nets, carpark, play spaces and lighting surrounding the fields.
Works comprised the bulk earthworks, field drainage and sports turf construction, including the lighting package. Key project requirements included 6000m3 of site-specific topsoil reused to AS4419 to meet soil profile, 5000m³ imported 70/30 sandy loam, 1500m³ remediation buried and capped on site, installation of 400kL rainwater tank and irrigation harvesting system, and 18,500m² of Santa Anna Couch.
