Parade Pemulwuy

On the outskirts of the old Prospect Quarry, Parade Pemulwuy is a master planned estate featuring state-of-the-art construction in the new Western Sydney community.

Metro Property engaged WEM Civil, Colliers Engineering and Design and AT&L to deliver the final stage of the Parade Pemulwuy estate requiring extensive value engineering.

WEM completed all the bulk earthworks, civil and servicing works for the 140 lot subdivision. Due to the site’s steep terrain, key construction features for this project included a large quantity of mechanically stabilised earth retaining walls up to 12m high.

Construction techniques took into account the native habitat & bushfire access constraints placing restrictions on the ultimate retaining wall construction. WEM developed and delivered a range of unique retaining wall solutions including piling, shotcreting and soil nails with MSE walls which incorporated a fauna crossing under the road to the entrance of the estate.
