After the devastating flash flooding NSW received in February 2020, the damage to Burragorang Road at Back Creek was extensive. The culverts and road had been washed away by the enormity of the storm water passing through after extreme weather conditions.
WEM Civil was engaged by the Wollondilly Shire Council to replace the culverts, resurface and widen the 660m long carriageway. This urgent disaster recovery project required a quick delivery and effective communication with the local community.
