Team BBQs for Mental Health Awareness

At WEM Civil, the wellbeing of our teams is our number one priority. We aim to encourage a culture of mateship, where everyone’s got each other’s back.

To get the team together and highlight the importance of a good chat, we hosted Team BBQs on site throughout September. Michael Ragg (CEO) and Graham Ragg (Exec Chairman) also took this opportunity to share what’s new across WEM.

At some of the BBQs, we had guest speakers (David Westgate & Wayne Wigham) from the Black Dog Institute. David and Wayne shared their lived experiences as well as provided advice to our teams. Their speeches were very valuable and insightful to our teams – we appreciated their involvement with our BBQs.

In addition, we were able to showcase our new BBQ Trailer. This BBQ Trailer was created by our Workshop Team. Thanks to our Workshop Team for creating this great trailer so we can enjoy a fantastic BBQ.
